ACE mini-grant program
ACE mini-grants offer faculty micro-funding:
- (up to $1500) to fund activities related to the community engagement component of an existing CSU-certified course offered at SDSU.
- (up to $2500) to fund the development of a new community-engaged course/project at SDSU.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications recieved in the fall term: awarded for use during the same academic year (must be spent by June 30). Applications recieved in the spring and summer terms: awarded the following fall for use during the next AY. All funds must be used in the AY for which they are awarded.
Awards are subject to budget availability. Funds must be spent in compliance with university policy and state law.
Eligibility for existing courses/projects:
- Applicant is an active SDSU faculty member.
- Applicant must submit a complete application.
- Funding must be applied to support activities in a community-engaged course.
- Course attached to this application must be CELT-certified.
Eligibility for new community engaged course/project:
- Applicant is an active SDSU faculty member.
- Applicant must submit a complete application.
- Applicant must be willing to recieve mentorship from ACE.
- Applicant must be willing to get the new course CELT-certified.
