sdsu CETL MICRO-CREDENTIAL BADGE
OVERVIEW
The Community Engaged Teaching and Learning (CETL) micro-crendential badge invites faculty to explore how we can design learning experiences that enhance students’ commitment to academics, personal and professional development, and foster civic responsibility that prepares them to work respectfully with diverse communities.
In this 5-module course, you'll explore articles and reports of community engaged learning strategies and how you can foster collaborative, equitable, and sustainable community partnerships. This space and the activities are designed to connect theory to practice with cross-role collaboration between faculty and the Office of Academic Community Engagement (ACE).
By the end of the course, you will have produced tangible artifacts such as a revised syllabus statement, actionable ways to sustain reciprocal community partnerships, and a CELT certification that demonstrate your learning and can be used in your teaching or professional materials.
